Today, your adventure begins as you board your international flight to Colombo.
Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you and your family will be greeted by one of our representatives and transferred to your accommodation.
After breakfast, you will journey to Sigiriya, located in Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. Spend a relaxing afternoon at your own pace before heading to a nearby lake for a sunset kayaking experience—a scenic and enjoyable way to wrap up the day.
This morning, enjoy some leisure time—perhaps a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pool. Later, embark on an exciting game drive to one of the three national parks in the area. Keep an eye out for elephants, sambar deer, monkeys, and a diverse array of birdlife—maybe even a turtle or crocodile near the water.
This morning, climb to the top of Sigiriya Rock together, discovering fascinating facts along the way and taking in the breathtaking views. Later, explore the Dambulla Caves, where you’ll admire ancient frescoes and encounter the playful monkeys that call it home.
Today, bid farewell to Aliya and the Cultural Triangle as you journey to the stunning beaches of Sri Lanka’s East Coast. Your destination is Passikudah, where you’ll unwind for the next three nights.
Spend the day soaking up the beauty of Kalkudah Bay’s palm-fringed shores. Swim in the clear waters, borrow a bike for a scenic ride, or unwind by the pool. Get active with a game of volleyball or Pétanque, or try your hand at a fun and interactive cookery class.
If you're in the mood for exploration, visit a local fishing village or take a guided hike up Kudumbimalai Rock for stunning views. For a more relaxing day, unwind at the Shanti Spa, or simply borrow a book from the hotel's library and enjoy some quiet time.
After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Kandy, passing lush rice paddies and farmland—perfect for spotting wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Today, dive into the rich history of Kandy with a visit to the vibrant Temple of the Tooth. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake, where you can explore local stalls and markets. Later, embark on a food and market walk, immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the city.
Leave Kandy behind as you travel to Kegalle, heading to your hotel where you’ll be staying for the next three nights. Enjoy a warm welcome and spend a relaxing afternoon strolling through the estate and its beautiful gardens.
The estate is deeply committed to giving back to the local community, providing school meals multiple times a week. Your children may even have the opportunity to meet local children their age or share breakfast with them before the school day begins. Additionally, the estate supports local women by offering training in the artisan tea trade, helping them earn a higher income. You’ll also have the chance to learn all about tea, from plucking and processing to the art of pouring.
On your last day in Sri Lanka and at the hotel, take time to unwind by the pool, play board games, or explore the estate, spotting bugs and butterflies along the way. For a bit more adventure, cycle to a nearby temple, or gather the family for a cookery experience to bring home some new recipes and memories.
Today, say farewell to your hosts as you’re taken to the airport for your flight home. Your return flight will bring you back the same day, marking the end of your unforgettable journey in Sri Lanka.
