International flight to Colombo(Bandaranaike International Airport).

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, complete immigration and baggage formalities. You will be warmly greeted by our airport representative at the arrival lounge, holding a name board, and escorted to your vehicle for a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Check-in and relax.

In the afternoon, set off on a guided Negombo City Tour by bicycle. Located along a scenic lagoon, Negombo was once an important trading port during the Portuguese and Dutch eras—attracted primarily by cinnamon. Explore its colonial heritage, charming canals, creeks, and vibrant coastal atmosphere.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Negombo.

En route visit Dambulla Cave Temple - Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, comprised of 5 caves and a picturesque facade carved into the side of a steep rock face, Dambulla Cave Temple houses ancient paintings depicting the Buddha and his life. Evening Safari at Minneriya National Park - These national parks in Habarana are the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers of elephants.

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sigiriya was built in the 5th century CE by King Kashyapa I. The king chose the site for its strategic location and natural defenses, constructing a grand fortress and royal palace on the summit.

Today, explore Kandy, one of Sri Lanka’s most scenic and culturally rich cities. Nestled among rolling hills and lush forests, Kandy retains much of its old-world charm, with deep-rooted traditions, local crafts, and a relaxed way of life.

Your guided tour includes visits to a Batik workshop and a wood carving center, where you can observe skilled artisans at work and learn about traditional Sri Lankan craftsmanship.

Next, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa)—Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist shrine. This sacred site houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth and is a highlight of Kandy’s spiritual and architectural heritage. The relic was enshrined in Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya I after being brought from Delgamuwa in Sabaragamuwa.

Note: We recommend modest attire for the temple visit—shoulders and knees should be covered. Footwear must be removed before entering; secure storage is available. Fresh flowers can be purchased from vendors along the temple walkway as an offering.

In the evening, enjoy a vibrant Kandyan cultural dance performance, showcasing traditional music, drumming, and energetic fire dancing.
