After breakfast and a tour introduction, journey to Mamallapuram, a charming coastal temple town. Upon arrival, explore its remarkable 7th- and 8th-century rock carvings, including the magnificent Shore Temple and the impressive Varaha Cave.

Return to Chennai, formerly known as Madras, a city that evolved from a British trading post into a vibrant cultural hub. Begin your tour at the 13-kilometre Marina Beach before visiting Fort St. George and the historic St. Mary's Church, built during British rule. Conclude your exploration at the vibrant and intricately designed Shiva Kapaleeswarar Temple.

Rise early to catch the Shatabdi Express to the garden city of Bangalore, where you will enjoy an afternoon city tour to see the Bull Temple, Tipu Sultan's Palace and Vidhana Soudha.

Travel to Mysore, pausing en route to explore the historic Srirangapatna Fort. Hop aboard the charming miniature narrow-gauge 'Toy Train' for a scenic ride to Coonoor, the second hill station on your journey. Spend time exploring this peaceful, lesser-known retreat, soaking in its serene beauty, before returning to Ooty.

Drive to Coimbatore and spend half a day exploring its cultural and religious landmarks. Visit the Sri Svetambra Vimalnath Jain Temple, admire the historic St. Michael Xavier Church at Big Bazaar, and explore the Athar Jamid Mosque on Oppamalara Street.

Explore Eravikulam National Park today, where you may spot native wildlife in its natural habitat (please note the park is closed from February to April, during which an alternative light trek will be arranged). Later, continue your journey to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Kerala with a captivating Kathakali dance performance.

Designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1978, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is best known for its majestic elephants. Embark on a guided walk through the reserve, keeping watch for resident wildlife, including wild dogs, barking deer, mouse deer, and the elusive Bengal tiger. Later, visit a local spice village to learn about Kerala’s aromatic treasures before enjoying an exhilarating traditional Kalaripayattu martial arts performance in the evening.

Journey to the coastal town of Kochi. In the evening, en route to Kumbalangi, a unique village showcasing the traditional lifestyle of local fisher-folk.

Embark on a full-day tour of Kochi, beginning at St. Francis Church, the first European church built in India. Continue to the impressive Santa Cruz Basilica, where you can enjoy excellent views of the iconic Chinese fishing nets. Conclude your day by exploring the historic synagogue in the heart of the Jewish Quarter.

Journey to Kumarakom, Step aboard a houseboat, a beautifully converted rice barge known as a kettuvallam. In the evening, enjoy a delicious meal of traditional cuisine before settling in for a peaceful night on the water.

Enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking and traveling to the coastal town of Kovalam. En route, stop in Kerala’s capital, Trivandrum, to visit the sacred Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, explore the historic Observatory, and admire the impressive collections at the Sri Chitra Art Gallery.

This morning, enjoy a walking tour of Kovalam, including a visit to its iconic lighthouse. The rest of the day is yours to relax or unwind on the beach before gathering for a memorable farewell dinner in the evening.
