Wild India: Golden Triangle & Ranthambore

Welcome to India! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted and assisted before being transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of both Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi, explore key highlights such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, and Raj Ghat, including an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow heritage streets of Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi, visit Humayun’s Tomb, the Government Buildings, enjoy a drive along the grand Rajpath to India Gate, and see the towering Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart by road to Agra (approximately 205 km / 4 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Taj Mahal. This stunning mausoleum, built from pure white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, is an architectural masterpiece created in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Designed as a garden tomb, the mausoleum stands at the far end of the complex, overlooking the flowing Yamuna River. Beneath its dome lie the cenotaphs of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan.

Next, explore Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573. The fort features a labyrinth of courtyards, mosques, and private chambers. While many original structures built by Akbar were replaced by his grandson Shah Jahan, the Jahangir Mahal remains the only surviving building from Akbar’s era aside from the massive sandstone ramparts and gateway. This grand private residence showcases strong Hindu architectural influences. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart by road to Ranthambore, stopping en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughal India. Highlights of Fatehpur Sikri include its grand audience halls, palaces, mosques, the tomb of Salim Chishti, the Panch Mahal, and the Buland Darwaza—one of the largest gates in Asia. Upon arrival in Ranthambore, check in to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Ranthambore National Park, spanning 392 square kilometers, was once the royal hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Today, it is renowned as one of the best places in India to observe majestic tigers in their natural habitat. These magnificent predators are often spotted during the day, engaged in hunting or caring for their young. The park is also home to large populations of sambar deer, chital, and nilgai, along with sounders of wild boar and the occasional chinkara gazelle. You may also encounter Indian hares, mongooses, and monitor lizards. The park’s lakes and pools attract deer and other wildlife, making animal sightings easier. Other residents include leopards, hyenas, jackals, jungle cats, sloth bears, and marsh crocodiles.

Enjoy thrilling early morning and late afternoon game safaris through Ranthambore National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

After breakfast, enjoy a free day at your leisure. Following lunch, depart by road to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning excursion to Amber Fort, the former capital of the state until 1728. Explore highlights such as Jagmandir, the hall of victory adorned with glittering mirrors, Jai Mahal, and the Temple of Kali. Experience a colorful elephant ride up to the fort’s ramparts. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur city, visiting key landmarks including Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), and the City Palace & Museum. Jaipur is also renowned for its exquisite precious and semi-precious stones, jewelry, cotton textiles, and traditional Blue Pottery. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer by road to Delhi. Upon arrival, proceed to the airport for your onward flight home, carrying with you the cherished memories of your Incredible India Tour.
