Land in Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. You’ll be greeted by our representative who will assist you to your private vehicle. Enjoy a short drive to the western port city of Negombo, where you’ll check in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the area or relaxing. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off for Dambulla, a picturesque village located in the heart of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and settle in. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, with the option to explore the stunning Pidurangala Rock. This enormous rock, just a few kilometers north of Sigiriya, offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It also holds historical significance, as it was once home to a monastery established by King Kasyapa in the 5th century. Overnight stay in the Matale District.

Enjoy breakfast before heading to Sigiriya Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rising 200 meters above the jungle. Known as the “Lion Rock,” it was once a royal fortress, famed for its water gardens and ancient frescoes. After exploring, return to the Matale District for leisure. Optional: join a safari in Minneriya National Park, home to herds of elephants and the historic Minneriya Tank. Overnight in Matale District.

Enjoy breakfast before setting out on a village walk in Hiriwadunna, where you’ll stroll along a tranquil reservoir, spot wildlife, cross by catamaran, and visit a traditional farm to learn about local agriculture and taste fresh produce.

In the afternoon, explore Polonnaruwa, the ancient capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover its vast reservoirs, the Royal Palace complex, and the Gal Vihare’s remarkable granite Buddha statues before returning to your hotel in Matale District.

Start your day with breakfast before heading to Kandy, stopping first at the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, home to five caves adorned with over 150 Buddha images dating back as far as the 2nd century BCE. Continue to a Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s famed botanicals and enjoy a soothing head and shoulder massage.

On arrival in Kandy, check in to your hotel and set out for an evening tour. Visit the Gem Museum, a Batik factory, and the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. End the day with a vibrant cultural show featuring traditional music, swordplay, and fire dances. Overnight in Kandy.

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Kandy with the option to explore at your own pace or join two enriching experiences. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, famed for their vast orchid collection and tranquil riverside setting, or take part in a hands-on cooking class at Thotupala Residency, where you’ll learn to prepare authentic Sri Lankan dishes using traditional methods. After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic train journey to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque city in Sri Lanka's southern region. Along the way, you’ll stop at a tea plantation to gain insight into the country’s tea industry, which has significantly shaped both the topography and demographics of the region. Tea was introduced to Sri Lanka in 1867, and it remains one of the country’s most important exports.
Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, check in to your hotel and get ready for an evening walking tour. Start at the iconic Golf Club, one of Asia’s oldest, and then visit the city’s oldest post office, which boasts a charming Tudor-style colonial building. Explore other landmarks such as the HNB Bank, the Police Station, St. Xavier’s Church, and the Grand Hotel.
