Golden Triangle: Highlights of Delhi, Agra & Jaipur
Take an overnight flight to Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi, your tour guide and driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel for a two-night stay in the heart of India’s capital. Use the rest of the day to unwind from your journey—perhaps take a refreshing dip in the hotel pool. Depending on your hotel's location, you might also explore a nearby tomb garden at sunset or enjoy a peaceful walk around Gurudwara Bangla Sahib near Connaught Circus.
Today is dedicated to exploring the vibrant sights of Delhi. Begin with a cycle-rickshaw ride or walking tour through the atmospheric lanes of Old Delhi, taking in the grand Jama Masjid mosque, the bustling spice and silver bazaars of Chandni Chowk, and the imposing Red Fort. In the afternoon, discover the elegance of Lutyens’ imperial capital with visits to Humayun’s Tomb and the impressive Qutb Minar complex, located on the city's southern edge.
After breakfast, travel along the modern interstate highway to Agra. Upon arrival, explore the impressive Mughal Fort and browse the lively nearby markets. In the evening, enjoy a magical sunset visit to the iconic Taj Mahal.
This morning, depart for Fatehpur Sikri, the beautifully preserved former capital of Emperor Akbar. After exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, continue your journey to Jaipur. En route, stop to admire one of India’s most remarkable stepwells. Arrive in the vibrant Rajasthani capital by mid-afternoon.
Spend a full day exploring the vibrant city of Jaipur, starting with a visit to the majestic Amber Fort. Later, take in the striking facade of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), explore the fascinating Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, and delve into royal history at the renowned City Palace Museum.
Enjoy a relaxed penultimate day exploring Jaipur’s vibrant markets at your own pace and taking in some of the city’s one-of-a-kind cultural experiences.
Before heading to Delhi in the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity for a final walk through Jaipur’s historic old city. Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll check in to a hotel close to the airport to prepare for your departure the next day.
Accompanied by your guide, you’ll be driven by car to New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport for your onward flight home.
