En route, Marayoor is famous for its traditional jaggery production, where vast sugarcane fields and local processing units offer a glimpse into age-old rural practices. The region is also home to the renowned Marayoor Sandalwood Forest and a protected deer park, making it a unique blend of agriculture, culture, and wildlife.
